I got my savage back 3-9-00 took it for a ride and the new clutches are great. The mechanic fould that the problem with the decompression sylinoid was not the cause of the bike not starting after all, it ended up being the kill switch on the side stand. go figure. I'm glad I took it to a shop cause I would never have thought of checking that. But I got it back just in time for cold weather to return. ride safe and have fun!!
